Education Qualifications for BSF Constable Jobs in 2025

• In the case of Constables (Carpenters, Plumbers, Painters, Electricians, Pump Operators, and Upholsterers):
  Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized institution;
  (b) Two-year certificate course in the trade or similar trade from an Industrial Training Institute;
  Or
  Ii) Certificate course from industrial training institutes or government-affiliated vocational colleges with at least one year of experience
  Trade experience;

• The following are the trades for Constables (Cobblers, Tailors, Washermen, Barbers, Sweepers, and Khoji/Syce):
  A matriculation certificate or equivalent from a recognized board;
  (b) Possess proficiency in respective trade;
  (c) Must pass a trade test conducted by the recruitment board.

• (3) For Constables (Cooks, Water Carriers, and Waiters):
  (a) A matriculation certificate from a recognized board;
  (b) A National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-I course in food production or kitchen from a National Skill Development Corporation-recognized institute.

For service under the Central Government, educational certificates other than those issued by State Boards or Central Boards should accompany notifications by the Government of India stating that such qualifications are equivalent to Matric or 10th class passes.
