Qualifications for LIC Job Openings in 2025

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian university/institute for AAO (Generalist)

An Associate Member must have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and be an AAO (Chartered Accountant).

An AAO (Company Secretary) must possess a bachelor’s degree and be an ICSI-qualified member.

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and pass at least six papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK examination.

The Insurance Institute of India (Life) membership is a requirement for AAO (Insurance Specialist). Experience of at least 5 years

AAO (Legal): Bachelor’s degree in Law (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) with a minimum of 50% marks. A minimum of two years’ experience

Engineer (Civil): Bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by the AICTE in Civil Engineering. Extensive experience required

Electrical Assistant Engineer: B.Tech/B.E. Degree from an AICTE-recognized institution. Extensive experience is required.
