Description of the job:

Business Intelligence candidates are being hired by NTT Data off-campus.

Responsibilities include:

• Provides insight to decision-makers by analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources.

• Using business data and market knowledge, creates forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans.

• Based on business needs, specifications are created for reports and analyses.

• Responsible for defining, developing, enhancing, and tracking metrics and dashboard requirements in order to deliver results and provide insight and recommendations.

• Provides actionable and comprehensive insights using data analysis and tools across multiple teams.

• Provides a comprehensive analysis of data across different platforms, including social media, and identifies trends and patterns.

• Reports and analytics for business intelligence are designed and maintained.

• Provides reports, summaries, and briefing notes based on data, statistics, and information obtained from various sources.

• Prepares data reports, insights, and extracts in collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders.

• Makes visual information easier to consume and actionable.

• Responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.

• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.

• Supports the implementation of recommendations and solutions by ensuring the client receives the support they need

Criteria for eligibility:

• The preferred degree is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another quantitative field.

Skill preference:

• Understand data mining principles, predictive analytics, mapping, and collecting data from multiple on-premises and cloud-based systems.

• A high level of accuracy and detail when collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information.

• A business mindset that allows insights to be converted into strategic opportunities in sprawling data sets.

• Ability to analyze, solve problems, and communicate effectively.

• Building effective working relationships and working independently across multiple teams.

• Exceptional knowledge of current privacy and data protection laws.

• Statisticians who are passionate about achieving results.

• Expertise in technical concepts and knowledge of statistics.

• Identifying trends and business opportunities.

• The ability to recognize and prioritize critical business issues.

• Skill in querying languages, SLQ, SAS, etc.

• Analyzing and reporting statistics with good understanding.
