A description of the job is as follows:

•  Work with an Agile methodology for a development process based on iterations.

• Analyze the requirements of the product/module and come up with test plans and scripts to automate the testing process.

• Communicate with architects and product management teams in order to resolve bugs and ensure that the product meets the quality and usability expectations of the user community.

• Hands-on authoring and executing of test cases and test code is combined with authoring and executing test cases.

• A responsible individual is expected to design and develop automated tools or frameworks to ensure that test coverage is highly optimized and effective.

• To develop a product’s testing strategy, innovative testing technologies should be used.

• Perform debugging and troubleshooting both in the local environment as well as the production environment.

• Test and automate the deployment of Cloud/Hybrid applications.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-team in order to drive identification and resolution of issues in time to release the product under tight deadlines and to be able to develop new features as the product develops.

• Assist the support team in resolving customer cases as soon as humanly possible, including reviving issues and verifying that bug fixes have been made.

The following criteria must be met in order to qualify:

• B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc/M.E./M.Tech/MCA in any stream of engineering or technology

The skill that I prefer is:

• Professional experience of at least five years relevant to the position.

• In addition, the candidate should have a strong background in functional and non-functional testing and have experience with code review / bug analysis, the development of test tools, the design of test cases, as well as contribute to the effective test planning.

• It is essential that you have a good understanding of Quality Processes and Test Lifecycles, as well as SDLC processes such as Agile/SCRUM.

• Expertise in Java/Python/Shell/Perl scripting skills and hands-on experience with Java/Python/Shell/Perl scripting

• The ability to understand the Linux operating system and be comfortable with basic administration tasks.

• There is a strong preference for candidates who have a good understanding of cloud computing.

• There is a strong desire for candidates with experience in Cloud/SaaS deployments.

• It is important that the candidate possesses excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• English is a good language for verbal and written communication.
