The job description for this position is as follows:

• An understanding of Java or Python, Spark and any other scripting languages would be an advantage.

• Having experience with highly distributed, scalable, concurrent and low latency systems and working with one or more of the following database technologies: Postgres SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DB, Elastic Search.

• A good understanding of data visualization and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, or other programs, is required.

• In addition to having experience with Maven, Jenkins and other JVM languages, you must have knowledge of automated build / continuous delivery.

•  Gathering and analyzing requirements as well as designing and developing integration solutions and APIs is part of our job.

•  A wide range of stakeholders and business partners need to be informed about the solution and the implementation aspects at the technical and/or functional levels that are appropriate for the situation

•  Having the ability to work closely with technical architects and the architecture governance technical team on solution development and design review processes.

• Works as part of an agile team and contributes to the creation of consistent development practices – tools and common building blocks

• Ensures that a feature set’s blueprints and annual plans are closely monitored by product owners, affecting multiple platforms and products.

• Analyzes innovative technologies and identifies opportunities to adopt them

• “This rebel with a cause” looks for opportunities for continuous improvement beyond the obvious, rather than only focusing on the obvious

Criteria for eligibility include the following:

• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or an equivalent degree

The skill that I prefer is:

• Experience in the fields of software development, either in a professional environment or in a similar environment, is required.

• Know how to develop rapid applications using Agile methodologies or other rapid application development techniques.

• Exposure to distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases as well as hands-on experience with application development, software design, and automated testing

• It would be desirable if you had experience in the payments industry at present.

• The system is capable of managing seamlessly across different time zones, cultures, and bands.

• Effectively communicates with technical, operational, and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• A team member must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns, and opinions directly to the broader team via teleconference or a face-to-face meeting.

• There is no doubt that accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

• It is essential that you are proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, and results-oriented.

• Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field in order to qualify.

• It is preferred that you have experience in big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Event Engine, etc.) tools for large scale data processing, data transformation, and machine learning pipelines.

• An understanding of Continuous Integration and Automated Testing tools, such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, and others.

• The ability to work in an Agile and Test-Driven Development environment is a must.

• In addition to demonstrating intellectual and analytical rigor, strong attention to detail, and a dynamic, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, the candidate has demonstrated a strong team orientation.
