Description of the job:
Technical Graduate Apprentices are needed at Cisco.
Responsibilities include:
- Enhancements and new products can be developed, tested, troubleshooted, and debugged using hardware/software programs. In addition to operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools, tech platforms may include operating systems, compilers, routers, databases, and internet-related tools.
- Record, document, and track bugs; participate in the release process by confirming QA status, post-release testing, and daily product stand-up meetings.
- Monitor end-to-end application performance from user interface points as well as network performance between various server runtimes.
- Design, implement, and optimize Cisco’s leading-edge technologies worldwide for the world’s largest networks and customers.
- Recommend solutions to problems that cross a wide range of technologies and determine the best solutions for customers based on the requirements of the customer. Review network requirements, and propose designs to meet business needs.
- Solve production issues in SaaS environments by performing change management procedures, automated and manual deployments, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Analyze the analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions in order to determine operational feasibility.
- Documenting business requirements, collaborating on solution design, implementation and business testing, including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments.
Criteria for eligibility:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Computer Applications, Networking, Information Technology, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Data Engineering or a closely related field is required.
- Obtain a degree certificate or PDC in 2021 or 2022.
- Available for 12 months beginning October 2022.
- You must have enrolled as a ‘Student’ on the MHRDD NATS website and have a valid student enrolment number issued by NATS in order to access the MHRDD NATS website.
Skill preference:
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Having a customer service orientation and the ability to work in a team with flexibility and enthusiasm is essential.
- The ability to manage IT helpdesk, incident management, asset management processes, asset life cycle, asset register, maintain and handle stocks as well as vendor management is a must.
