We are looking for candidates to fill the position of Software Engineer at HPE.
The job entails the following responsibilities:
- Code enhancements, updates, and changes are performed on portions and subsystems of end-user applications software that are running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms based on specific requirements and instructions.
- Tests assigned portions of code according to established testing plans and protocols; identifies, logs, and debugs issues as assigned
- The aim of this task is to develop an understanding of and develop relationships with the internal and outsourced development partners when it comes to the design and development of software applications.
- Participates in the development of reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products, as a member of a team that includes other software application engineers and internal and outsourced development partners.
The following criteria must be met in order to qualify:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent degree.
- The typical experience ranges from zero to two years.
A skill that is preferred is:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally; good command of both English and the local language.
- The ability to analyze and solve problems in a timely manner.
- It is essential to have a good understanding of how software applications are designed for multiple types of platforms.
- The ability to understand basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures is essential.
- A working knowledge of programming languages and tools used in the design of software applications.
