Syllabus for IBPS PO 2022
In general, IBPS PO Exam Syllabus is similar to other bank exams. There are three stages to the IBPS PO Exam:
- IBPS PO Prelims Exam
- IBPS PO Mains Exam
- IBPS PO Interview
In order to be considered for interview shortlisting, candidates must obtain a minimum score on each test (Pre and Mains). Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews based on the IBPS PO Cut-Off and vacancies available. Scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with candidates shortlisted for interviews before the interview process has been completed. It is necessary for a candidate to qualify both in the Online Main Exam and interview as well as score sufficiently high to be considered for the final appointment. Pattern of IBPS PO Exam 2022 for Prelims
First step to getting into IBPS PO 2022 is the IBPS PO Prelims. The screening round has begun.

Mains Exam Pattern for IBPS PO 2022
It is the 2nd Stage of the IBPS Exam. In 2022, candidates who qualify for the IBPS PO Prelims will be eligible for the IBPS PO Mains Exam.
- The IBPS PO Mains Exam will have four sections and an additional English Language section on the same day.
- There will be 200 MCQ’s in the main IBPS PO Exam, with a total time limit of three hours.

A 25-mark descriptive test will be introduced
In the PO Mains Examination, IBPS has included the descriptive test for 25 marks. Each candidate will be required to write an essay and a letter worth 25 marks. There is a minimum cut-off score required to pass the English Language Paper, which assesses the candidates’ writing skills.

Syllabus for IBPS PO Interview
Those shortlisted for the CRP-PO/MT-X will be invited for an interview, which will be coordinated by the Nodal Banks under each State/UT with help from IBPS and conducted by the Participating Organization. Centers will be selected for interviews.
- There are 100 marks allotted for the IBPS PO Interview.
- SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates must score at least 40% to qualify for the interview.
- There will be an 80:20 weighting (ratio) for the IBPS PO Online Main Exam and interview.
