Engineers are needed at Seagate.
Responsibilities include:

Get familiar with the Ansys HFSS/SIwave/AEDT manuals and learn how to extract PCBA and IC package models from them

Models of packages and PCBAs can be automatically extracted and plotted

Seagate SI/PI flows for DDR, Serdes, PDNs, and updated IPs are documented and automated

By using Cadence SKILL/TCL/Python, automate the design and checking of substrates
-
Learn the rules of substrate design by working with substrate suppliers
-
Become familiar with assembly design rules and work with assembly subcontractors
-
Discover how Seagate designs and documents its substrates
-
Model extraction and substrate warpage simulation for VLSI thermal packages
-
Interact with Operations, PCB and IC Designers, as well as SI/PI engineers
-
Make sure you present your work to the engineers who design the PCBs, ICs, and packages.
