Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for SCC’s MTS recruitment drive in 2024
Havaldar/MTS:

A recognized board must certify that the candidates have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent.

Candidates can also meet the educational requirements if they can provide documentary evidence that their qualifying examination results were declared on or before the cut-off date.

An Equivalence Certificate from the appropriate authority must also be presented by candidates possessing equivalent educational qualifications during Document Verification. Selection of such candidates will, however, be decided by the relevant user departments/appointing authorities.

The minimum age for MTS and Havaldar in the CBN (Department of Revenue) is 18-25 years old (i.e. candidates born after 02 January 1999 and not later than 01 January 2006).

Process for selecting MTS in 2024 by the SSC

In SSC Recruitment 2023, the recruitment process for the post of Havaldar will consist of a Computer Based Examination, a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST).

In addition to Hindi, English and 13 regional languages, the Computer Based Examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi.

There will be two sessions of the Computer Based Examination (CBE) for the recruitment of MTS.
