Description of the job:

A position for a Service Desk Associate is available at Unisys.

Responsibilities include:

• All issues or requests reported by end users are handled by this person

• Provide technical support for both internal and external clients

• Provide customers and/or employees with telephone technical support for hardware, operating systems, subsystems, and/or applications

• Diagnoses, investigates, and recommends solutions to common problems using basic diagnostic techniques

• Responsible for all end user issues until they are resolved and follow up as required by the process

• Assist remote support engineers or field engineers with complex problems

• Ensures call quality and response times are maintained in accordance with agreed service level agreements. Ensures that all cases are updated in the system and keeps records of calls

• Provide professional and insightful customer service to multiple clients.

Criteria for eligibility are as follows:

• Graduates (2021 and 2022 batch) must possess a minimum qualification of Engineering or Non-Engineering.

• Educated and/or trained in the field of Information Technology, or have relevant experience in the field Relevant certificate courses and/or tertiary degrees related to IT.

Skills preferred:

• The ability to communicate verbally and in writing is excellent.

• A good understanding of operating systems, hardware, networking, and Microsoft applications

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• Coordination and multitasking abilities

• The ability to evaluate situations properly and provide immediate solutions requires excellent judgment skills

• Flexibility and willingness to work shifts (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
